Apply to The City of Manchester Lead Program
The City of Manchester currently runs a $3.64M HUD project to address lead hazards in the City of Manchester. We began enrolling new properties into our program in 2016. We will enroll properties through the fall of 2018.
Property Owners: We have two versions of our application. Please select the application that best fits your property profile. If your building is under a state lead order, or you have children under the age of six living in your building, please complete the Lead Program application. If you have no young children living in your property, and it is not under a state lead order, please fill out this request for consideration: Owner application. Return applications to the Planning and Community Development Department (One City Hall Plaza, Manchester, NH 03101). Applications can be mailed, or dropped off at the Permit desk at City Hall. We ask that owners also gather the tenant information. We have the tenant application available in Spanish.
Contractors: Interested in becoming a Pre-Qualified Lead Abatement Contractor for the Manchester Lead Program? Fill out the contractor pre-qualification application and return it to the Planning and Community Development Department (One City Hall Plaza, Manchester, NH 03101). Need training? Our program partners Alchemy Lead may have lead abatement training sessions available for new contractors and workers.
If you are a Tenant seeking properties which have participated in our program to mitigate lead hazards, please review our lead-safe housing registry.
