Apply to The City of Manchester Lead Program
The City of Manchester currently runs a $3.64M HUD project to address lead hazards in the City of Manchester. We began enrolling new properties into our program in 2016. We expect to enroll properties through April 2018.
If you have not yet submitted your application to our program, please contact us soon to inquire if there is funding remaining. We will need to know the property's address, number of units, and whether the property is under a lead warning or state lead order. If there is funding remaining, we will send you an application.
Contractors: Interested in becoming a Pre-Qualified Lead Abatement Contractor for the Manchester Lead Program? We have already scheduled our last bid walks for 2018. Please check back in October 2018 to ask if the program received additional HUD funding. If we have new funding, all contractors will need to complete prequalification, even those who bid in prior programs. The earliest we could have new projects to bid would be December 2018. You can contact Nashua or NHHFA to inquire if they are prequalifying contractors for their recently funded lead programs.
Our program partners Alchemy Lead may have lead abatement training sessions available for new contractors and workers.
If you are a Tenant seeking properties which have participated in our program to mitigate lead hazards, please review our lead-safe housing registry.
This web site is partially funded by HUD project NHLHD0286-15.
