Good news for Manchester LHRD participants - you no longer have to wait for a letter to come in the mail to complete your annual compliance requirement. With our partners in Information Systems at the city, we now have a stamp-free solution to checking this task off your to-do list.
As a reminder, property owners who received funds for lead hazard repairs from our HUD-funded lead-hazard reduction program must annually certify that vacant housing units are being rented out at below-fair-market rents to low-to-moderate income families. Families which have children under the age of six should be given preference for vacancies, as this age group is at the highest risk for lead posioning.
If you have questions about meeting annual compliance that are not answered in your contract materials, please reach out to us with any questions. Please also email us if you need to confirm whether you missed any of the annual compliance forms from prior years. Program staff will be happy to provide you with up-to-date information.
Here is the link to our new online form for annual compliance. And, thank you for helping to create more lead-safe housing in Manchester.
